The carrots have come up great. These were the last of my potatoes, will have to plant an extra row or two next year!
Runner bean plant looking very healthy indeed, but not that many beans on them.

Had this with Salt Marsh Lamb. Was very lovely indeed!

Beetroot and Onions

We had one success and one failure!

I planted 2 rows of onions and I got back 2 onions! Don't quite understand what happened, but the rest of them just haven't grown at all really... the stalks have come up, but the bulb didn't grow at all.

Beetroot seemed to have worked well though. Didn't plant too many, but nearly all that I planted have come up. Taste very good as well! Just made some Spicy Beetroot soup, for the freezer and then just boiled a couple and put some vinegar on them... lush!!!

Jam!

Went for a walk earlier and noticed there were loads of blackberries about. So popped back home and got a container and picked some!
